The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a skilled Data Analyst to join their dynamic team in a hybrid role that bridges core data functions, strategy development, and commercial P&L management. This position offers the unique chance to directly influence the fund's superannuation and retirement strategy through data-driven insights.
This is a 6-month contract opportunity for a Sydney based candidate with immediate availability.
Key Accountabilities
- Analyse complex datasets to extract meaningful insights that inform and enhance the fund's retirement and superannuation strategy
- Collaborate closely with the enterprise data team to develop and implement data models that drive commercial decision-making
- Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for improving member outcomes and business performance
- Support P&L management through data-driven forecasting and performance analysis
- Create compelling visualisations and reports that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders across the organisation
- Contribute to strategic planning by identifying emerging trends and opportunities within the superannuation sector
- Develop and maintain dashboards that track key performance indicators related to member engagement and product performance
Ideal Experience
- Proven experience in data analysis within financial services, preferably in superannuation or retirement planning
- Strong technical skills in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualisation tools
- Excellent understanding of commercial P&L structures and financial metrics
- Ability to translate complex data insights into strategic business recommendations
- Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with the superannuation regulatory landscape and industry trends is advantageous
