Investment Analyst

The Organisation
Our clients are financial institutions who are leaders in asset and wealth management industries. These highly regarded organisations are renowned for investment management expertise in designing and executing asset and fund management programs for their partners, clients and customers.
The Opportunity
We are working across a number of opportunities which cover a range in levels of expertise within funds management. You will have the chance to help these companies embark on new journeys, conducting manager research, assisting portfolios construction (multi-asset, ESG, ETFs), contributing to fund implementation ideas and helping build new partnerships.
Key accountabilities
- Working within teams to deliver on key investment initiatives
- Contributing to regular research on global and domestic markets including equities, ETFs, ESG, etc.
- Proactively taking ownership of funds and providing regular commentary and performance analytics
- Managing stakeholder engagement internally and externally
- Providing analytical and insightful advice to investment committees and the management teams for decision-making
- Developing presentation materials for campaign and sales events collaboratively with the distribution and marketing teams
To be successful in this role you will have
- Strong understanding of fund and asset management markets, competitors, and the legislative and compliance markets
- Knowledge of the Australian asset management industry, including ETFs and other investment products.
- Proven analytical skills and technical knowledge across all asset classes
- Ability to produce high quality investment research and excellent presentation skills
- Self-motivated, strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Economics, Finance or Commerce
